We are a niche Colombian family owned company dedicated to sharing the unique experience of Colombia’s finest coffee from bean to cup. Our coffee is made with Colombia’s highest quality Supremo Arabica beans (no mix, no blends) in a 100% chemical free process. Combining the best beans with our family’s proprietary roasting formula developed over the years, has enabled us to unlock the complex aromas of true high quality Colombian coffee. This delicious ground coffee comes from the northern Colombian region of Bucaramanga, one of the oldest coffee producing regions in Colombia. The coffee is grown at lower altitudes (1,200-1,700m), similar to those produced in Central America. Lower altitudes result in higher temperatures and drier conditions exposing the coffee bush to solar radiation. As a result, farmers protect the coffee by growing it amongst forest-like vegetation with plantain trees and canopy trees above. This technique has produced lower acidity coffees with fuller body. In addition to the exceptional taste of our coffee, the sustainability of our famers has always been important for Kinta Loma, in particular as we are ourselves Colombian and we are highly aware of the hard work put by Colombian farmers into their coffee. That is why our parent company is a member of the Colombian Coffee Growers Federation, which has a Purchase Guarantee Policy ensuring that growers can sell their beans each day at/or higher than international market prices. In addition, by working with farms registered with the Colombian Coffee Growers Federation, sustainability is being tackled through four main axes which ensure the wellbeing of farmer communities and the environment.
